On Day 3, the ship docked in Juneau and, after our daily morning workout, we prepared for our adventure -- Helicopter Glacier Trekking!
We met a couple from New York on the bus over to the airport, where we met the folks from NorthStar Trekking who had everything all laid out and ready for us.

After we geared up, we boarded the helicopter -- Denise got to sit right next to the pilot.

We went for a ride over the Juneau Icefield, where the glaciers were bright white and cool blue. The flight was smooth, and so was the landing -- right in the middle of a glacier.
