It was the Radiance of the Seas and it was divine -- a brand new ship, in its inaugural season, part of the Royal Caribbean line. Everything was expertly designed -- from the fitness room to the lobby area. Our room was well-appointed, with lots of room and good storage space.

After boarding, we got settled into our -- as settled as possible without our luggage (it didn't arrive until 9:30) --and then explored the ship. The Daily Compass was our guide to the the goings-on -- and there surely was quite a bit going on!
